My name is Yaw Anokwa. I work at Nafundi, a software company I started. Nafundi's mission is to create technologies that improve the lives of the underserved. Our current focus is on replacing paper-based workflows with mobile apps.
I recently completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Washington. I was advised by Gaetano Borriello and Tapan Parikh. My research with Open Data Kit, Change and OpenMRS used the availability of technology in low-income regions to improve the health of the poor.
My curriculum vitae summarizes my academic and professional history. It also has links to my publications and talks. If you need me reach me, email me at yanokwa@gmail.com.
